Ready to set the world on fire

Everything Jeremiah:

Graduated high school today. […] I want to do something original. I’m waiting for the line to be drawn when I stop re-creating the work of others for grades and start creating something new. It’s like being in training for so many years and all you want to do is go out and do.

Go get ’em, mate. My God but you’re making me feel old, but go get ’em. Now comes the good part of the ride, for as long as you can stay focused on making the things you want happen, instead of letting thing happen to you.

I must say, I felt the same way as him 3 weeks ago when I graduated (though I graduated college). It is the complete truth. Doing a project for a grade is not the same as doing one for yourself or others.
