Springtime, and the living is easy

Removing a winter’s-worth of crap from in front of the back door: 20 minutes.

Washing a winter’s-worth of crap off the deck chair: 10 minutes.

Hooking up a longer phone cord: 2 minutes (including redial).

Sitting on the deck in mid-seventies sunshine with a Mike’s Hard Iced Tea and something we won’t remind Ruzz of, blogging: priceless.

Update: actually, it’s hotter than the fires of Hell, I can barely see the screen with the brightness all the way up, and Mike’s Hard Iced Tea has a horrible Nestea-like aftertaste, but it’s been a long, long winter, and I’m not going in until I start sweating enough to short out the keyboard.

Good for you. What’s with the froo-froo drink, though? Heh.

Those Mike’s Hard Iced Teas can be nasty. Put a little tequila in them.

Oh hell yes. That’ll kill the aftertaste, won’t it?
