Haunted by the Little Prince

Having failed to catch Shannon‘s allusion to Le Petit Prince this weekend, I’m now haunted by the vertically challenged atheling: first one of the best “comment” links I’ve seen in quite some time, in a blog that was on Daypop, though I didn’t quite grasp why at the time, and then while checking a referrer, I found that it was Daypopped thanks to a “which children’s storybook character are you” quiz. My referrer was, of course, the dapper, if diminutive gentleman.

I wouldn’t be nearly as bitter about missing a literary allusion if it weren’t for all the spleen I’ve vented on people who need me to explain every single one I use. I hate to be the sort of person who annoys me.

Just get the fucking book and read it, Phil. And stop calling him a twit. He’s hard a hard time of it, you insensitive bastard.

Wow. That’s what I call power.
