Ender’s Game is being made into a movie!

Oh. It will be released in two, three, or four years. Rats.

I’ve been hearing about that movie for years. It’s starting to take on a kind of Lochness Monster feel for me. Orson Scott Card was friends with some of the profs in my IDS dept., so he was a App every now and then. I love his stuff, though. Have you read Ender’s Shadow? I think it’s one of his best.

That’s a tough ”what’s best” call: Shadow was brilliant, the more so for rewriting a story he’d already written, but Game was my first OSC. Who was best, your first love or your most skilled lover?

That would have to be myself, on both.

I walked into that one, didn’t I?

Anne, if you’re not going to check the ”remember info” box, you’ll want to be sure you don’t misspell your own name in your URL (fixed now, but there’s no guarantee I’ll spot it the next time).

Oops, thank God, I never called myself smart. Humbled, but not smart.
