Annoying new Blogger archive error

While I never really liked Blogger’s barely-comprehensible error messages about being unable to find various templates and output files, I’m not sure that Tom’s current archive index (at the moment it consists of the words “template not found”) is an improvement. Especially since that template represents one of the most visible, visited, and prominent examples of my Blogger archive scripts.
