John Robb says “Here is an update on my friend and boss Dave Winer. He is in the hospital and will remain there until next weekend.”

It’s odd, but that explanation never once occurred to me: it’s like saying “the wind isn’t blowing because it’s in the hospital” – unless I really think about it, I see Dave as more a force of nature. Best wishes for a full, speedy recovery.
