Remember to check back

Just a reminder to me, to keep checking on the blogroots resources list, waiting for “ways to submit new information to be included” – given that the section on comments only includes aspcomments, cgiComments, and Reblogger (with a link!; I know people remember the name Reblogger, but since it has been an ex-comment system since 11/2001, I’m a bit surprised anyone remembers the link), I think I could maybe suggest a few more.

oh for goodness sake, they’re big boys and girls over there. just let them copy their resources from

http://www.larkfarm.com/wlm/roll_your_own.htm

or

http://www.lights.com/weblogs/tools.html

like everyone else. heh

oh, and hey, a quick note letting users know whether HTML is enabled in comments, or what is legit would be helpful. thanks. =)

Thy will be done.

Hell, everyone copying from Mike and Peter is part of the problem: they are both really good catalogers, but terrible weeders: Peter has a link to BlogVoices, and Mike has a link to blogtech, of all things! I’ll keep a link to something when the corpse is still warm, but once rigor sets in, it’s time to pull the link.

yes, god knows that corpse is long dead. first of its kind and first to die. I tend to look at it as more of a mummy, although even historically it’s not of much consequence. heh

it was never meant as anything more than an faq regarding problems anyway, and god knows i didn’t have the patience to keep after it. I never anticipated the continual influx of new problems.

whew, I can’t remember the last time I visited the blogger forums. do they still have problems over there? heh

and thanks for implementing my little suggestion. =)
