It’s linguistic convergence, I tell you

It’s bad enough that I feel partly responsible for RSS 2.0 not having the optional core namespace that would make it embeddable, having soft-sold it in a prejudicially phrased option (in a message brilliantly sent without a subject). Now (well, last week, in a post that must have been in his TypePad blog), Marcus is pinning the funky thing on me, since I did use the word. Ack ulp! Haven’t I paid enough for the funky thing?

(Note for the irony-impaired: look at the webcam, see that big lump in my cheek? That’s my tongue. Time and past that I start laughing at myself for the way I feel about the funky-fallout.)
